Community focused plumber Doncaster

Community focused plumber in Doncaster and surrounds
We are a young family and nothing is more important to us than our kids.
But we also realise that we have it lucky: we live in a beautiful part of the world and we are able to run our own business, so it is incredibly important that we acknowledge this and give back in any way that we can.
Below, you will find some of the way that we give back to our local community in Blackburn, Mitcham and surrounds, as well as the wider community, particularly the Who Gives A Crap initiative.
Who Gives A Crap?
We do!
We recently came across Who Gives A Crap, a wonderful Melbourne-based initiative that sells toilet paper and then uses 50% of their profits to fund sanitation projects in third world countries through WaterAid.
They use 100% recycled fibres in their toilet tissue, and their production process has saved 74 million litres of water. You can learn more (and purchase online!) here.
We give a roll of Who Gives A Crap toilet paper to all of our customers to pique interest and get the conversation started. We also give them information on the charity, and how they can support it if they wish.
We are talking to local retailers, too, to stock the product in the future. (Quirk – the gift shop in Warrandyte Village at the “Bridge Arcade” shops stocks Who Gives A Crap paper already).
Local schools, charities, and sports clubs
We also support our local junior footballers – in particular the Warrandyte Tackers.
We always strive to choose local, using our local shops and cafes for goodwill and customer loyalty programs.
And we try to give whenever we can to local school and charity events and raffles. We can’t do it all, but we are happy to receive any requests to see what we can do to give back to our local and global community. Contact us here.
Community events
Throughout the year, we also run “tradie nights”, where the community gathers for a fun activity to raise important funds for an organisation or charity close to our hearts.
