Did you know that your plumber—that would be us— is the winner of not one but two awards? That’s right. We are the current reigning champions of Manningham Business of the Year and we also won Manningham Professional Services of the Year.
Around 40 businesses entered these awards so we are very proud of our achievement. As our reign is coming to an end in the next couple of months we would like to let you know some of the things we have been doing this year.
Unparalleled customer service
The philosophy behind our business is simple, but it has seen our company really progress since we commenced operation 12 years ago. We provide our clients with unparalleled customer service. It’s an easy position to claim, but we believe that we own and run a leading local trades business. It’s the many small things we do that sets us apart and the business is growing because of these. Simple things like we: call you when we are on our way to your home; show up on time; take our boots off at your front door; smile and we are happy. We are transparent, upfront and genuine in the service that we provide. That’s why we have adopted the positioning statement that “WE CARE”. We really, truly care!
Supporting the community
Since winning the award last November we have been given lots of opportunities to give our business more exposure. We have presented (and had a great time) at numerous Rotary Presentations, attended various Manningham Business events and our recognition throughout the community has increased. We have also been featured in a couple of local papers.
Our support of Who Gives a Crap toilet paper continues and we estimate we have given out around 800 rolls. One roll equates to a toilet for a week for a person living in a third world country. We also sponsor a local football team, contribute various prizes for community fundraising events and we use vouchers from our local shops for goodwill.
We are currently in the process of setting up a scheduled maintenance program for your household plumbing to decrease the risk of emergencies which can be extremely inconvenient and often costly.
Two big weeks ahead
We have two big weeks ahead with Manningham’s Women in Business Expo and the Greater Warrandyte Business Expo.
