Plumbing Spotlight | Heat Pump Hot Water Installation | Warrandyte 3113
This week’s Plumbing Spotlight takes us to Warrandyte, where our team supplied and installed a new Aquatech Dynamic X8 270L heat pump hot water system. The homeowners wanted efficient, reliable hot water with lower running costs, and a heat pump was the perfect fit.
We installed the new unit on an external wall, tested and commissioned it, and issued all the compliance certificates on completion.
The unit: Aquatech Dynamic X8 270L
The Aquatech Dynamic X8 is a 270-litre heat pump storage hot water unit. Instead of heating water directly with gas or an electric element, it draws heat from the surrounding air and transfers it into the tank, using far less energy to do the same job.
It comes with a 5-year warranty on both the cylinder and components, giving the homeowners real peace of mind.
Why we recommend these units
We highly recommend heat pumps like the Aquatech Dynamic X8. We only install mid-range to good quality units because we want them to last. We’re not interested in installing cheap units that customers will just have to replace in a few years, often with no rebate available the second time around.
We’ve installed many of these units, and both we and our customers are very happy with them.
Great rebates still available
The good news is that great rebates are still available for heat pump hot water upgrades. That means a quality unit can cost a lot less than you might expect. How long will the rebates be around… who knows? However if you’d like to complete our heat pump survey we can give you a good indication of what you qualify for.
Not set on a heat pump?
No problem. We also supply and install regular electric and gas hot water units. There are lots of hot water options, depending on your preference and what’s actually workable at your home. We’ll talk you through what suits best.
