Before laying new paving, a Ringwood homeowner wanted their existing stormwater pipes checked. A stormwater CCTV inspection was carried out to identify any problems before the new surface was installed.
H2PRO Plumbing accessed the underground stormwater pipework through the stormwater pit at the bottom of the driveway and carried out a full CCTV inspection of the drainage system.
The inspection identified several areas of concern, including sections of pipe holding water, sediment build-up and an aggie pipe protruding into the stormwater line. We were also unable to get the camera through pipes at the rear of the property, despite trying several access points.
With the inspection complete, we’re now preparing a quote for further investigation and the required stormwater works, giving the homeowner a clearer picture of what’s happening underground before the paving goes down.

It’s worth knowing exactly what’s happening underneath before the work begins. A CCTV inspection can identify issues such as damaged or poorly graded pipework, standing water, sediment build-up or other problems that may become much harder and more expensive to access once new paving or landscaping is in place.
