Donvale Hot Water Spotlight ๐ง
A Donvale customer called us with one of those problems you notice pretty quickly – no hot water.
We arrived the same day and talked through a few options with them, including whether a heat pump might be a good fit.
After considering the choices, they decided they were actually very happy with their existing electric hot water system and wanted to stick with a similar setup.
No problem. Sometimes the best option is simply replacing what you already have with a reliable, familiar system.
We supplied and installed a new 250L Everhot electric hot water system, renewed the water isolation valve, updated the pipework insulation and arranged the electrician to connect the new unit.
The old system was removed and everything was commissioned, with the Certificate of Compliance issued.
Best of all, we had the electrician there the same day and the customer had their hot water back that day. ๐
Our lovely customer even called the office the next day to say how thrilled they were with our service โบ๏ธ
There isn’t one hot water system that’s right for every home.
There are quite a few options these days – heat pumps, standard electric, instantaneous/continuous, and gas and the right choice depends on your home, what’s available, your family’s hot water use and what you’re looking for from the system.
And with Victoria’s move towards electrification, if you have a gas hot water system that you really like, it’s worth getting it serviced and understanding your options as of from 1 March 2027, an existing gas hot-water appliance that breaks and cannot be repaired generally has to be replaced with an electric alternative. Whether you’re considering a heat pump, replacing an electric system, love your gas, or simply want to understand your hot water options, we’re happy to talk you through what’s going to work best for your home.
